The queue is the product
A studio queue is a product too: what goes in, what comes out, and how long anything waits in between.
Design the queue
Every request enters one list, is sized in the room, and leaves with an owner and a date. The list is the first thing we design on a new retainer.
Waiting is a cost
A request that sits for a week is a decision made by default. We review the oldest items first, every week, and cut what no longer matters.
