When brand meets product

A brand and a product share one customer. Here is what changes when they share one queue too.

When brand meets product

One customer, two teams

Brand teams talk about promise and product teams talk about use. The customer lives in both, and notices every gap between them.

When the two sit in one queue, a decision about tone becomes a decision about an empty state, and the gap closes before it ships.

What we changed

We moved brand and product reviews into the same weekly session, with one file and one list of open decisions.

The first month felt slower. By the third, handoffs had shrunk to a short note, because most questions had already been answered in the room.
